In todays world there is no such thing as a "permanent" job. Companies are continuously downsizing, merging, reorganizing and transforming. Unfortunately this means worker dislocation. Workers are forced to make adjustments in their working lives. The LETC plays a major role in helping workers achieve a successful transition to new employment through involvement in Dislocated Worker Programs. The LETC works with employers and unions to provide on-site pre-layoff services to insure a smooth transition for affected workers.
